Home-sick demon (Demon chory na dom) to wystawa będąca przestrzenią potencjalnego mieszkania, ogarniętego demonicznym wpływem. Istoty demoniczne koegzystują w niej wraz z ludzkimi mieszkańcami, jednocześnie kontrolując ich działania. W tym miejscu ludzka wola zostaje zastąpiona siecią różnorodnych, zewnętrznych wpływów, kształtujących i determinujących wszelkie zachowania, myśli, pragnienia.
Obecność poszczególnych demonów uwidacznia się w rozmaity sposób. Niektóre z prac przedstawiają demony wprost, wręcz upostaciowiają je. Inne obrazy i obiekty zaświadczają o ich złowrogiej obecności ukazując jedynie ślady ich działań.Wszystkie demony są tu w jakiś sposób splecione z przedmiotami użytkowymi, elementami umeblowania i wystroju mieszkania. Kryją się w obrazach i obiektach związanych z codziennością. Wystawie towarzyszyć będzie także działanie performatywne, będące formą egzorcyzmu, wypędzania demonów z ich kryjówek.
Mityczną figurę demona można rozumieć jako upostaciowienie lęku przed byciem zdeterminowanym rozmaitymi niekorzystnymi czynnikami. Mówiąc językiem mitu – jest to personifikacja strachu przed opętaniem bądź utratą kontroli. Demony, choć z reguły przedstawiane jako humanoidalne postaci, przybierały też formy dalece abstrakcyjne, nie kojarzące się zupełnie z powszechnie znanymi nam rogatymi kreaturami. Bohaterowie wystawy to źródła niechcianego wpływu, syndromy chorych budynków, traumy społeczne i indywidualne, zewnętrzne przyczyny zaburzeń i chorób tkwiące w codziennym otoczeniu i zostawiające ślad w naszych osobistych przestrzeniach.

Home-sick demon is an exhibition-turned-hypothetical-apartment engulfed in demonic influence. Demonic beings coexist there with human inhabitants simultaneously controlling their actions. In this place, human will becomes replaced by a web of diverse external influences, shaping and determining all behavior, thought, desire.
The presence of any given demon can mark itself in various ways. Some of the works represent the demons directly, practically embodying them. Other paintings and objects tell tales of their malicious presence only by bringing to light the traces of their deeds.
All the demons are, in a way, enlaced into household items, furniture and apartment decor there. They lurk within paintings and everyday objects. The exhibition will also be accompanied by a performance, a sort of exorcism aiming to banish the demons from their hideouts.
The mythical figure of the demon can be understood as an embodied fear of being determined through many different adverse factors. Using the language of myth – it is the personification of the fear of being possessed or of losing control. Demons, though they tend to be portrayed as humanoids, would often take on wildly abstract forms, ones we do not associate with our familiar horned creatures. The main characters of the exhibition are sources of unwanted influence, sick building syndromes, societal traumas and individual, external causes of disorders and illnesses embedded into everyday surroundings, leaving their marks on our personal spaces.
